Each chalet in Turoa Yurt Village is north-facing, with picture-view windows in the open living area, boasting majestic views of Mt Ruapehu, home to New Zealand's longest and most popular ski runs.

Each chalet has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and can sleep up to eight guests, depending on the bedding configuration.

As designed, the central living area of the chalet is open and spacious, making for a unique and sociable holiday setting. The bedrooms and facilities are on the outer rim of the nautilus, as pictured in this floorplan sketch:

STAGE 1 consists of six Yurt chalets, and was completed in August 2007.

STAGE 2 presales have now begun. Owners purchasing off the plan may select from a number of interior options, including bathroom and kitchen colours and fittings.
